How to Choose Between Automated Testing and Manual Testing to Check Errors in a Web Application


You definitely want your website to look amazing and to be accessed properly by the users, right? You don’t want any error to appear on the website after it is launched. To avoid errors in the website, you can use website testing methods.  Testing will help you to know the location of errors in a web application so that you can resolve it before time.

There are two types of testing methods used to check the errors in a web application; manual testing and automated testing. Both of these testing methods are used by the full stack development companies to ensure that they are delivering good quality web applications to clients.

MANUAL TESTING
Manual testing requires human efforts to fix the errors in the code which is time-consuming. The features and functionalities of a web application is checked by the manual tester as an end-user. The manual testers have to create a report that consists of the details of the conducted test cases such as associated log files, errors reported in the database etc.


AUTOMATED TESTING
Automated testing is conducted using various automation tools like Selenium and Ranorex. It does not require human efforts in checking the features and functionalities of a web application. Take a note of these reasons for selecting automated testing over manual testing.

If you provide full stack development services, you have to complete the projects on time. Manual testing takes a lot of time to test the web applications, therefore, you should use automated testing in such conditions.
